The participation fee can be paid:

For online payments, the participation fee can be paid directly through the registration form using a bank card. Payment confirmation will be sent automatically.

IMPORTANT NOTES
The participation fee, as a donation, is non-refundable, even if the registered person does not attend the event.
Participants wishing to switch to a different race can do so for free by sending an email request to office@maratonulnisipului.ro by May 1, 2025. Any changes made after this date will incur an additional fee of 50 RON.
In cases of force majeure, participants must provide acceptable documentation to the organizers to request a free change.
If switching from a longer race to a shorter one, the fee difference will not be refunded. No changes will be allowed after the registration period closes.
Participation kits will not be sent via courier in case of non-attendance.

DESCRIPTION
Difficulty Level: Moderately High – Requires experience running on sand
Time Limit: 6 hours. Participants finishing after 6 hours will appear in the results as DNF (Did Not Finish).
The Relay Team must consist of three members, with each member running 14 km in total by completing two 7 km relay segments in the order they were registered. None of the relay members can participate in any other race of the event. Only teams complying with these rules will have their results officially recorded and included in the final standings.
Relays can be male, female, or mixed. Each team member must run the 14 km as follows: one 7 km loop of the course, wait for the completion of loops by the other two members, and then run another 7 km loop. The relay exchange can only be made in the designated area marked by the organizers, strictly respecting the registration order.
During the break between their two loops, runners may leave the relay zone but must ensure they are in the designated area when it is time for their exchange.
Performing the relay exchange in a location other than the designated area will result in the disqualification of the team.
If the team members do not run in the order of registration or if the team uses fewer than three members and/or one of the members runs more than two 7 km segments, the team’s results will be marked as HC (hors concours) and will not appear in the official standings.
If one or more team members cannot participate, and another member runs more than one segment, the organizer must be notified at the latest by the start of the race. Failure to notify the organizer will result in the disqualification of the team, and the members may be banned from future competitions organized by the same entity.
If a registered team member cannot participate due to exceptional reasons, they may be replaced no later than 72 hours before the start of the race, subject to an additional replacement fee of 10 EUR (payable in RON at the official exchange rate of BNR on the payment day).
