DESCRIPTION
The “Family Run” race brings families together, encouraging them to run a 1 km course while supporting home medical care for children with cancer, eliminating exhausting hospital trips. Over six years, participants have covered 160,000 km and contributed to 1,800 free home visits, providing essential support to families in need.
The “Family Run” race is designed to turn running into a family activity, giving parents and children the chance to run together for about 1 km. Teams of 2 to 5 members will run not only for their own health and enjoyment but also to support the project “Home Treatments for Children with Cancer.“ This initiative provides specialized mobile medical services at children’s homes and is Romania’s first long-term integrated hospital-to-home care program, launched by the Dăruiește Aripi Association.
