    The participation fee, as a donation, is non-refundable, even if the registered person does not attend the event.<\/span><\/p>

    Participants wishing to switch to a different race can do so for free by sending an email request to <\/span>office@maratonulnisipului.ro<\/b> by May 1, 2026. Any changes made after this date will incur an additional fee of 50 RON.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

    In cases of force majeure, participants must provide acceptable documentation to the organizers to request a free change.<\/span><\/p>

    If switching from a longer race to a shorter one, the fee difference will not be refunded. No changes will be allowed after the registration period closes.<\/span><\/p>

    Difficulty Level:<\/b><\/span> Medium \u2013 Requires experience running on sand<\/span>
    <\/span>Time Limit:<\/b><\/span> 3 hours. Participants finishing after 3 hours will appear in the results as DNF (Did Not Finish).<\/span><\/span><\/p>

    The course starts under the metal arch at <\/span>Zoom Beach<\/b>. After starting, runners will head north along the seashore, following the marked route in a 7 km loop to Reyna Beach and back to the start area at Zoom Beach. They will then continue toward Neversea Beach and return to Zoom Beach, completing a total of <\/span>3 full loops<\/b>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

    Hydration Points<\/b><\/span>
    <\/b>Hydration stations will be set up at the start\/finish area at Zoom Beach and at km 7.5 (Reyna Beach).<\/span><\/span><\/p>

    Control Points<\/b><\/span>
    <\/b>Control points will be located at each major directional change to monitor participants’ progress using their bib numbers and to assist with orientation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>
