    The participation fee, as a donation, is non-refundable, even if the registered person does not attend the event.<\/span><\/p>

    Participants wishing to switch to a different race can do so for free by sending an email request to <\/span>office@maratonulnisipului.ro<\/b> by May 1, 2026. Any changes made after this date will incur an additional fee of 50 RON.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

    In cases of force majeure, participants must provide acceptable documentation to the organizers to request a free change.<\/span><\/p>

    If switching from a longer race to a shorter one, the fee difference will not be refunded. No changes will be allowed after the registration period closes.<\/span><\/p>

    DESCRIPTION<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

    Low difficulty route<\/b><\/span> \u2013 No prior experience running on sand is required; it can be completed at a walking pace.<\/span>
    <\/span>The route is 5 km. Time limit:<\/b><\/span> 60 minutes. Participants who finish after 60 minutes will be classified as DNF (Did Not Finish).<\/span><\/p>

    The starting point<\/b><\/span> is the metal arch at Zoom Beach. After the start, runners will head north along the shoreline, following the course markings, completing a loop of 2.5 km to the Reyna Beach area and returning to the starting area at Zoom Beach. Participants in this race will complete one full loop.<\/span><\/p>

    Hydration points<\/b><\/span> will be located at the start\/finish area at Zoom Beach.<\/span>
    <\/span>Control points<\/b><\/span> will be placed at every major direction change to record participants passing by their race numbers and to help guide them along the route.<\/span><\/p>
